  • Day to day administration of System Centre Configuration Management (SCCM) environment to include engineering new solutions as needed.
  • Support, implement, and managing Windows workstation (desktop/laptop) deployment
  • Attending weekly cyber security compliance meetings to discuss current security posture and to plan/deploy security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot failed deployment to the endpoints via SCCM Remote Control tools and resolve Software Centre compliance issues.

  • Carry out monthly audit of MDF area to ensure all network devices are in healthy state.
  • Set up workstations / printers for associates on the floor.
  • Participate in change management and lead 10G Firewall deployment project, including Cisco 9500 upgrade, Juniper SRX4100 firewall upgrades and applying network configurations.
  • Participate in monthly on-call roster.

 

Key Projects

 

  1. Upgrade Juniper SRX4100 Firewall and Cisco C9500 switches to the latest version, apply network configurations, and install/mount devices in MDF rack. The scope of the project was to segregate the fulfillment centre network traffic from the head office network traffic.
  2. Install and configure Nagios monitoring server on a Raspberry PI device to monitor access points and switches on a remote Amazon delivery site. Also setup alert emails notifications on Nagios to sent alerts if a network device goes offline.
  3. Configure a new VLAN on an existing network on 3x Cisco C9500 series switches for a new security badge reader solution. Also collaborated with the Wireless team to add this new VLAN on site’s SSID.
  4. Upgrade 3x Cisco C9500 switches to the latest firmware to resolve a POE issue for a network time clock device.
